Newkirk, Oklahoma

After we left Ponca City, we decided to venture up Hwy 77 to see the sights.  First town we came to was a cute little town, and they were having a celebration.  So of course we stopped!  Town of Newkirk, Oklahoma, Celebrating Charlie Adam's Day!!

Newkirk is a small town, but with such character.  It boast a striking historical district
with the largest collection of limetone buildings in Oklahoma restored to their original splendor, and fun shop's in the cute buildings!
