We traveled through The Tallgrass Prairie Preserve on are way to Pawhuska on Thursday.

We were so lucky the bison had wandered up by the road!

Then on Saturday we returned to the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve we drove through the amazing bison on the prairie, it is so wonderful to see them grazing out among the hills.
This sandstone sits just beneath the surface of this vast prairie grass.
The top soil is so rich and fertile, making the prairie a beautiful grassy heaven.
